Some things can be planted now. Potatoes, Cabbage, Onions, radishes all can be planted early. It just needs to be so you can prepare the ground for them.

The thing you need to worry about now is the rain rotting your seeds.Especially if it keeps up the way it has been.
For the main garden I usually wait till about the 1st week or 2 of May.Although I have started them in early to mid april.I ended up doing a lot of replanting when I started that early though.
If you get it in by June 1st or so you have plenty of time for most stuff.Planting, to harvest is about 90 days, or under on most things.
