the new synopsis is out. read page 20. do not throw out your 2001 hunting lic.if you have already you might want to go to freddies or joes and make sure your prefrence points dont get lost somehow.maybe this is no big deal and maybe it is.i havent thourghly checked it out. but with the new year almost here thought i would bring this to your attention fellow hunters. pref. pts. are precious!!!

I went out to the ODFW website twice in the last couple of weeks looking at pref. points. They have not updated them from last year. I should have points for buck deer, which aren't displayed yet.
The new way of finding your hunting information can use your old license number, an ODFW assigned hunter ID number, or your drivers license. It was very simple when I went a got my 2002 license since I still had my 2001 license. Anyway, my point is I don't think we can tell if the ODFW is going to lose our points somehow since they are not up to date anyway.

As long as ODFW doesn't loose my bighorn sheep preference points, I'll be happy.
