I shot my New years Goose

I could not stand to stay in the house so around 9:30 I headed out for what ever Water foul I could find to hunt. The wind was blowing at my house, however not at the Island. So I took a walk along the river to see how many boats were Sturgeon fishing on the Colimbia. Then I spotted what looked like geese sitting in one of the fields we hunt. After going back to the truck to get the shotgun I was off to stock the geese. Got with in 40 yards and made an ID on one small group I stood up and they were sure beaten wings, BANG down goes 2, BANG 1 and BANG 1 more makes 4. All were Tav's which was fine with me after all 4 geese is 4 geese.

Good job fish a lot. I've tried to put the sneek on geese before in an open field but can't remember any success in doing so. A bit of luck last week though. We had 3 greaters come into our decoys on Saturday. Got all three. Those sure are big birds after shooting cacks and tavs for a long time.
