Fished about 3½ hours this morning just down from the Beaver docks. Saw 4 fish caught in our area, the good news is I didn't see one seal or sea lion. Water temp 48.2, sun was out most the morning

I was surprised today ... the Willamette was windy and I was reluctant to head out to the big river. But when I did, it was calm and pleasant. Overall, fewer than half the boats at Davis Bar today than there were on Tuesday.
Fished out of Willow Grove from about 6:30 until 2:30. We had two take downs by 8 am and thought we were in for a good day one didn't stick and the other was unclipped and that was the end of our action. Nice sunny weather for a while but got windy with the turn of the tide. We only saw one other fish boated. Maybe tomorrow is the day? :grin:
