Default Trolling herring with a jetdiver ?

Just curious, does anybody troll herring with a jet diver? Would one use a longer dropper with the jet diver? I am interested in your feedback!

We backtroll herring with jetdivers a lot in the the tribs, and most of the time the water is 8'-15'deep.

In those cases we're using #10-#20 jetdivers and a 6"-12" dropper is enough or we don't use a dropper @ all.

I ran a jumbo diver on a 24" dropper with herring in the Reach a few times this year while running Kwiks on the other rods (30-40'). It caught a couple of salmon including the hottest fish I've ever had.

I know a couple of folks who use them a lot with size 20 or 30 divers, no dropper, running fairly short (20 pulls).
