Haven't been to Bonneville lately, but that sounds like a good pic....Did try the St Helens area on Saturday, and Kelly Point the previous Tuesday.

I've been very dissappointed with the Colubmia bite, both before and after the nets went in. We limited in 4 hours the earlier day, but not on the Columbia; up the Willamette about a mile. Saturday, we fished from Trojan to the bottom of the slew. Didn't see or get anything more than a few shakers.

I'm not really sure why, but what little bite we've seen has been a really soft bite; fish pecking and nibbling, not really actively feeding. I wonder if the water temp is what's up..

If you haven't been following the last weekends sturgeon posts you are going to have a very slow day in the columbia apparently due to water temp... I suggest that you fish in the willamette or Mult. channel maybe even downstream of Kelly point. look for tacklebusters posts on the willie...

If you go up there please let us know how you did....

fished the mighty columbia today out by rooster rock and corbett tried all levels ov water 20 ft to 70 ft deep but only managed 2 shakers in 4 hours the wind was blowing and it was COLD so i decided to take myself in and will try again another day
caught those 2 shakers on smelt in about 40 ft of water above the hole in which i normally fish
