Is there a doctor in the house?
Just read a couple of articles regarding toxoplasmosis. One from a sporting magazine and the CDC web page. They state that pregnant women should avoid eating venison unless it is thoroughly cooked. As we know, thoroughly cooked venison chews like an old boot.
I let my wife know since she is 5 months along and now she is pi$$ed. She loves all the wild game that I inconsistently bring home (or that someone donates to us because they take pity on my stellar ability as a hunter). No red wine and no venison till mid-April. Merry Christmas Honey!
Anyone else hear of such a thing?
