Well I'm fresh out of tags to go hunt big game. I will be involved with a youth that has an elk and deer tag. He was supposed to hunt elk tomorrow but didn't finish his book report for school so we will see if he can finish it tomorrow and hunt on Sunday. I hope so, because after hunting this late spike season and not getting one, and seeing a lot of cows and a few branch bulls I think we have a good chance of getting him into a cow.
Does anyone have a tag to still hunt?

Mudsucker and I have cow tags for a portion of the Saddle Mountain unit. Our season starts this morning. It is about time, I was starting to have hunting withdrawals.

my son still has a youth cow hunt in the wilson unit in dec. have always had good luck with this hunt.should be fun and put alittle meat in the feezer to boot.
Filled my tag today! Got a nice doe in an "any deer" unit. It was 20 yard shot with the muzzle loader and I found the deer 10 steps off of the road into a hunt, like 30% of the deer I have taken. It just goes to show that if'n you gets out of the truck, you'll bump into the deer. Would have never seen the deer had I been road hunting.
