Newport Englunds Tackle Sale

About an hour ago I was on the phone with Englunds asking if my Jabsco parts had come in yet. They tell me that they are doing a big re-model, expanding the tackle section into another part of the store, so to reduce the amount of stuff they have to move, they are having an un-advertized sale of 30 - 50% off on all tackle starting this weekend. So I call Walt up right away to tell him. He gets down there about 15 minutes later and tells me it's pure chaos....commercial guys are buying tuna & salmon gear like it's going out of style. I thought the sale wouldn't start until Saturday but I guess they changed their minds. So get down there quick before all the good stuff is all gone!!!!!

Very funny. I too was figuring a way up there before I got to the replies. Where the heck is Englunds anyway? So when its for real I know where to point the truck.

Beside what good is a sale when they are going to ban the use of lead and you can't take your boat out unless it has a head in it.....lol
