Just some darkies...(pics)
Didn't get off work until 4:30 this morning, but still found some motivation to get up in search of steel. Found these little cuties willing to bite! Was drift fishing flies with a casting rod. (Not coordinated enough to actually try a fly rod )
Oh yeah...on the Tualatin

Re: Just some darkies...(pics)
Nice steelies! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who flings flies on drift gear. Although I usually do that for springers because it's a pain fishing that deep with fly gear.

Are you sure those are out of the Tualatin? They look more like Fanno Creek material to me...definitely smokable though! ;-)

Re: Just some darkies...(pics)
O.K., some people have wondered as to the size of the fish on the left. I guess I left it out of the first post. It was 32", the one on the right 28". So, was your guess close?...

Must be the upper Tualatin with that much bedrock and drop.
Pretty fishes.
