EVENTS 2005
anyone intersted these are great events, lots of fun and a chance to talk with expert fisherman.
APRIL- fiesta de pesca, east cape month-long tournament with Western Outdoor News. has put together a massive awards package.

MAY 5-9 Loreto great trip for yellowtail,sailfish and maybe dorado. we'll be staying at Camino Real, a terrific hotel on the beach.
May 29-June 1...Alaska..The 2nd annual King Salmon Challenge at the fabulous Waterfall Resort. This one is expensive but a trip you'll never forget.

JUNE 24-26 ENSENADA Yamaha Classic. this one is for private boaters so check with your buddies for a ride. details are in Western Outdoor News.15 or 20 of us make this tourney every year and it's always a blast.

JULY 13-17 2nd Annual W.O.N. dorado tournament at the east cape switched from La Paz this year to handle the overflow,lots of prizes.

SEPT.12-19 COSTA RICA 7 day trip Crocodile Bay Resort, a bit pricey at $2695.00 per person plus air fare but worth every cent.
SEPT. 29-oct.2 Back to Ensenada for the final Tourney in the Yamaha Classic.

Nov.2-5 Cabo San Lucas Tuna Tournament it has grown into the largest tuna tournament in the world,book early this sold out last 2 years.

MARTY,
all but two,I'm thinking every day about making a speed run back to cabo in Sept. to make the tuna tournament in Nov.
Back in 2002 we left Huntington beach 72 hours at high speed (like 22 knots at night) we sailed into cabo. If we make the run south this year we will have a couple of seats open for any Salty Dogs that want to fish the tuna tournament.
