Goose Show Locations
I am looking to make a few good Duck & Goose Shows this season for the Hot Tamale Outdoor Show, which airs on Portland and Vancouver Cable access, and was wondering if there is anyone interested in Hosting a shoot on some Private Property??
If we're successful, I'll edit the show and you can watch yourself on TV!
Let me Know,
Scott

Re: Goose Show Locations
Scott,
Rauly and I could probably help you out on our place but the geese aren't using our lease right now. They will eventually. We hunt Western Wash. County. Could do ducks early and run to the goose field just before shooting time. We also have access over East near the Columbia for geese and ducks. Maybe you have your heart set on doing the NW permit zone though? Let me know.

Re: Goose Show Locations
Scott,
If you would like to film I am sure I could get you onto the property we lease. I should propably check with the big mucka mucka first. As far as geese go this is mostly pass shooting and not the best for filming. However the ducks seem to like our spot quite well and somedays just come bombing in. After hours I have seen ducks come in by the thousands which might make for some good filming. We shoot on Sauvies Island. Let me know if your interested.

Re: Goose Show Locations
Get Bit & Meridian....
I would be interested in videotaping either Ducks or Geese...doesn't matter...we could do a combo show if they're both around, and....I can't just focus on the NW special permit area...
Meridian...once you check with the Big "Mucka Mucka", let me know what you find out. We also lease land on Sauvies but it's more of a Pumkin Patch than it is a Duck/Goose Hunting Area.
If we can arrange it, It would be only myself and One other (camera guy).
I will also make sure you get copies of the show when completed.
Give me a call at work and let me know.
Thanks,

Re: Goose Show Locations
Jim....
#12 huh??? You've been around this place a while!
Let me know what you are thinking. Since you're in Washington, it would definately be of interest, especially to the viewers down here, what you're up to. Do you hit the Columbia at all?? Where are you headed over the next month or so??
We are now airing the show in Clark County, so you will have a Very Large audience...Excited??
I'm ready when you are!

Re: Goose Show Locations
Yeah I guess I have been around awhile...to long for some!
I have two places in mind for the Duck Hunting but oddly enough both require water of which there is none at this point. They are in the Chehalis Valley, one near Chehalis and the other farther down the valley near Montesano. One could have the opportunity of a really good DU connection.
As for Geese...boy right now we don't have any...but the normal September is awesome. Last year I double tripped clients all five days with usual limits for all...only one for me of course.
Could the camera man shoot from a coffin blind??

Re: Goose Show Locations
Scott,
Sorry I haven't called yet. Will try to get ahold of you today. But then again I tried yesterday and the day before. Work is a little busy and the boss is a real bass (I'm self employed) .
But anyway were good to go. One little problem though, no ducks. I'm sure they will be here soon.
