Default DU and Rocky Mtn Elk

If you are a hunter and care about the habitat these are both excellent organizations to join. I really enjoy reading the magazine they each put out, full of great info.

No doubt. I love what RMEF is doing for elk habitat. I always read Bugle from front to back. Wayne Van Zwoll's articles are interesting, and Scott Stouder's writing I enjoy.

I agree. I am a member of RMF and Oregon Hunters Association. Both banquets give you that hunting feeling when the season is over. Although RMF does a wonderful job and I will continue to support it I have decided that I am going to spend most of my raffle ticket money and donations to OHA because they keep all the money in the state.
And as FishHunter said, that Bugle magazine is hard to beat.

firedog ----I was a member of DU for about 10 years, and my daughter was a committee member in the Seattle chapter. Last year I discovered that DU was selling their membership information to other solicitors (publishing co., auto ins, financial org.). I wrote 2 letters of complaint and got no replys. If you want to check this out change your membership name slightly (Robert to Bobbie), and if you get mail addressed to Bobbie you will know who let the cat out.
RMEF is doing good things. I dropped DU.
