for Doggyfish
Andy,
the bear festival queen????? Well... I think I'm married to a dairy princess...
Did you get out duck hunting this last weekend and if so, did you see any woodies??
I got my dog run poured... boy did I sweat shoveling cement. I got a real reminder how old and fat I am. Got a dog who minds real well and likes to retrieve. Oh.. likes to eat real well too and I'm using food tidbits as a motivator for training...
So, did you see any woodies and what do you think about this next weekend???
Signed,
got dog,
will travel

Re: for Doggyfish
Hi Bill,
I went out chasing pheasants in an area I have never hunted before. I had three guys cut in front of us, running no less, to get to a patch of cover. They put up 4 birds, and missed them all. A-holes!
I confronted them, told them the story about the young bull and the old bull, sitting under the cork tree on a hill overlooking a pasture full of cows.
The young bull says, "Why don't we run down there and and try get one of those cows?"
The old bull says, "Better yet, lets walk down there and get 'em all."
I couldn't believe it. Anyway, those were the only pheasants we saw on Saturday that we could have had a shot at.
Went jump shooting for ducks, and saw a lot more mallards than in the weeks before. One pair of woodies was still on the slough. Didn't get close enough for shots on any ducks.
Trimmed out my shed, mowed the lawn and cleaned up the garage on Sunday, so I got no hunting in that day.
Next weekend it is me and the boys. Momma is going to B.C. with her mom, aunt and cousin on a ladies weekend, so I can't spend any time in the woods, except for maybe a roadhunt for grouse with the boys in the back. I think I'll visit my buddies up at elk camp on Saturday, and take the boys out for another "huntin' trip".

Re: for Doggyfish
Okayyyy... I'll plan for an eastern WA trip this next weekend and save the possibility of woodies for one more..
... unless you want me going down there by myself... LOL...
I'd like to see how this new dog does on birds.
Suzie even said she'd go hunting with me this weekend. I think it's because of the dog and she knows I come back to the camper real often and she'd get some petting in.

Andy,
How come you didn't comment on me "going down there myself".
I hope I at least got you to grin over that one.

Re: for Doggyfish
Okay Bill,
I missed something, somewhere. Oops, just caught it. I'm a bit slow today. Lost a BIG, for me, 2.2 million dollar deal credit approved by my bank, but shot down by the USDA rural development folks because it didn't meet some danged (pc version of damned) financial hurdle that really has no bearing on the health of this company.
I never did ask, but how are things going at your work? Sorry for the slow inquiry. It sounds like you guys lost a huge deal, only to gain a few smaller ones. I hope you have enough seniority to weather the storm.
Anyway, back to the comment, yeah, I snickered a bit, but if you're realy looking for a laugh, go to the old board, the PP one, not the lakes, and look at the "hey, how many people" thread by Hey'yall. It is definitely potty humor, but hey, everyone needs a laugh now and then.
Take care, and get some birds this weekend.
Andy

Re: for Doggyfish
I'm on a different program... but mine dies in about 18 more months so I need to find a place to x-fer to.
I'll check out the pp board and see what's up.
Right now I'm headed over by George for some dog testing this weekend. The missus is going along. She'll be head dog petter and camp heater runner.... decorating book reader... etc..
Bill

Re: for Doggyfish
Andy,
I found that thread and was laughing so hard that the mouse icon on my screen was bouncing up and down.
That one guy was in sad shape.

Re: for Doggyfish
Glad to see you guys enjoyed good ol' Mac and Beef. To date, that is the funniest story I've ever read for potty humor. I just reread it yesterday for probably the tenth time and laughed my *** off again.
