Hey Muddog.....

Your team had an awesome year but the likes of Illinois/N.Carolina/Duke/ are still there and at this point, Louisville will be fortunate to make the final 4 if they can beat WV.....

You not only have to be good to win this thing but a little lucky as well. Louisville could have easily lost that 1st game and their coach realizes that. That was why it was hard to accept a 4th seed but I told myself, this will be motivation for them....

I don't think they will win it but their coach put it best, this particular tam has been 1 of his 2 favorites because of the illness & tragedy some of these players have had to face.....

Hope the success continues.... and for UW.... This was a very successful season to build off of and they definately have the right coach....

Dean & Garcia are best friends and last year, Garcia's brother was murdered in NYC....

Pitino lost his brother Billy Minardi in the 9/11 terrorist attacks....

Dean & Garcia both came to Louisville without visiting the campus..... They came there just because Pitno was the coach.....

That is when you know you have influence.....

Miles also was out all last season due to a knee injury & O'Bannon was originally a walk on..... Dean has played the last month & 1/2 with mono.....

Much adversity but a real close knit team....

Just what you need to have success......

Pitino has incredible influence...and it is well deserved.


I remember when he took that job, I was like "what is he thinking" but he saw potential, and it seems they have turned him loose and make that team his. They are going to be tough to beat...I wonder who is going to stay for next year.

Awesome game by the Cards. Now I know why they were peeved about their seed.

Thay played at the top of their game, and UW let themselves get into foul trouble, which made it a little easier for Louisville to control the game.
