Another question about river levels and possible drift ideas. Does anyone know if there is a takeout between Pleasantvalley and Waterloo, or is Waterloo the only one below Pleasantvalley??

yes there is, jacks takeout is a takeout above bates bridge but can be easily missed if you don't know where it is at. also there is a new takeout about a mile further at a farmers property. $3 for jacks and $5 for the farmers.

I believe Jack's is closed...I was told he passed away recently. :depressed:

he passed away over a year ago and intially it was closed. one of his relatives (i think brother) re-opened it. for how long i don't know.

Jacks is open, but they no longer provide shuttle services.

Bummer Jack was a nice guy. He let us park overnight once a few years back.

I live on the south and Jacks is closed. The only take out is at the corn maze.
