Default fishing in hawaii

I have just been given an oppurtunity to go see my daughter in hawaii. She is stationed at Pearl Harbor in the navy. She returned from deployment in nov. and her husband just returned from Iraq on dec 22.
I will be there for 5 days and mt new son in law wants to fish with me.
Any ideas or recommendations about charters will be greatly appreciated.

Magic sportfishing is very near Pearl Harbor. I believe the captains name is Tanaka and the boat is incredible. Seemed very top notch... Joe

Here's a link I found.

Going to the Big Island? You should. I caught a 475 Blue Marlin there last May off the Kona coast. I would highly reccomend capt. Scott Pruner who runs The Deceiver out of Kailua-Kona, HI. Their web site is: http://www.deceiversportfishing.com/

Scott will do his best to find fish for you and truly loves the sport. If you want to go on a large, air conditioned, 40' or 50' boat you may. If you want to catch fish, go with Scott.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I fished out of Pearl about 4 years ago. WOW!!!! What fun.

There are some charters that give discounts to the military and the other people in there group so shop around because they are a lot cheaper and they are also good charters. Good Luck and HAVE FUN!!!!!!

You gotta go to the north shore of Oahu and surf pipe while you're there!
