Sandy Report?

I finally have a day off of school and work tommorow and wanted to hit up the Sandy for some steelhead. I was thinking about fishing at either dodge or oxbow, and was wondering if anyone knew the water conditions? I'm just concerened that it might be blown-out after the recent rains we've had. Thanks!

I doubt it will blown out!! I heard a few good reports up a little higher. Good luck if you go.

The Sandy showed an increase in flow from the recent rains, but not close to blowing out at all. I saw a good increase in fisherman bringing fish to the shop on Sunday, but was quiet today. I would bet on Oxbow park to Dabney if floating, the oxbow or cedar creek area if on the bank.

Still fairly clear, but has a little green tint to it. Went 1-1 today and heard of a couple others caught.

Pray for more rain. The river was in decent condition yesterday. A friend and I put in some work and were rewarded. Our fish were caught on small corkies, relitevely high in the system. Hope this helps.
