Default Above I-5 Hog lines?

This will be my first rather serious attempt for spring fish in the Troutdale area. Do springer lines usually form in the same areas as the fall lines I saw last year?

From what I have seen, depth of 10-30 ft is usially targeted. With clearer water and dry spring month that might change.

Yes, people will still fish those same spots.

Nemo, I am guessing you will probably be fishing the same spot as last spring!

Best spot on the river for pikeminnows .

I'm actually going to give it a try tomorrow. Heard about a couple sea lions that were munching down on some chrome in front of the saw dust pile today.

I'll save you guys a spot!

If the wind is blowing I like to use jet divers instead of lead. At least then as the wind is blowing you around on anchor your lures are following and covering more water. Also I did pretty well using Kwikfish behind jet divers a few years ago out there.

I would be there tomorrow but work calls. I saw a dredge working the 205 area about a month ago so I may need to scout some areas to see what the changes look like.

Skybuster, were the dredgers on the Gov't Island side? And if so how far up or down the island did you see them go? I hope my favorite spot has not changed. I have them saved as waypoints and hope I don't have to reconfigure the whole thing...

They only dredge the navigation channel, that should not effect your fishing.

Most of the dredging activity was located between Chinook Landing and the power lines. (Seems like they do it every year).

I have seen them down lower, but it did not look like it was an operational event.
