Ya Erich, she couldnt wait to get that bad boy in the freezer. With any luck she'll get to stick one in the late season.

Nice bull, I wish I could get my wife to hunt. Maybe I should trade her in on the hunting/fishing model

Cool bull, looks like a 5x5, right? Way to go. Did every thing work out ok with the meat in this warm weather?

Fish Hunter, Ya its a 5x5 and the meat is great. Shot the bull in the timber at 8:15 AM last load of meat to the truck at 2:45 PM hanging in the locker at 5:05 PM it was about 80 degree's out that day. In the early season getting the meat out has got to be your first concern. So far we have been very lucky, we have only lost one animal and that one layed in the woods over night before we found it. I think that one would have been ok if his shot placement had been alittle better but he rushed the second shot (missed with the first) and hit it a little two far back.
