Well Stinkyfish and myself went fishing for the first time this year. We launched at Cathedrial Park. We fish down river from St. Johns bridge in 50' of water. We had pretty steady action all day while watching the football games between fish. We fished next to Sturgeon Tom for a while (Nice to have met you)
We ended up with around 30 fish total. 2 keepers 45" & 54"
I also lost stinkyfish's big fish (mid 50" fish) while trying to tail grab it the hook straightned out (un-intentional release) and also released another 45" fish.
Over all a Great day fishing. Smelt was the bait of the day.
