Default Success

Well guys we had a pretty good year. Opening morning I shot at the biggest bull I have ever seen in the woods and as my luck would have it I missed. I was shooting from dark timber in to sunlight and miss judged the range, its amazing how shooting from dark to light or light to dark can sway your judgement on range estimation. Anyway I didnt see another Elk within range until yesterday morning my last day to hunt. I have heard that the Elk are bugling on Mt St. Helens but on the other side of the Lewis River where I was they werent making a peep. Until yesterday, I bugled in a 5x5 and got a good shot I will post pictures in a couple of days when I get the film back. Lets here your success stories or even about the one that got away.
