Default Disabled angler hunter permit.

Due to my newfound bum leg (search for "BlueWater lives!" if you want more info) I am planning on having my doctor sign the disabled angler/hunter application and mail it in. Can someone who has either gotten one themselves or helped someone else get one give me some more info. Are there more steps they don’t outline in the regulations? It seems just to easy or is that all there really is to it. Thank you in advance.

Thats all there is to it. A doctors signature confirming you are disabled satisfies the odfw

Yea what he said. My wife has a disabled clam diggers permit, due to her visual problems, and it was pretty easy to get.

My wife has a permanant disabilites permit. Just had the doctor sign the form and that was all there was to it.

Check out handiangler.com for a listing of sites in the state where you can fish and parking.

You can have the Doctor sign the one in the OREGON BIG GAME REGULATIONS or Call ODF&W and they will send you the same one printed on white paper.
The doctor signs it and a couple weeks you get a Permanent card that you do not have to renew.

Thanks for the help. I am looking forward to getting back in the hunt so to speak. Though I will not need a wheel chair I am going to have to use a full leg brace from now on in order to keep my leg from bucklng. I believe that qualifies me.
