Ifishers on the Wilson Today

Got to meet and fish with Dejawho75 and DSRods today on the Wilson and really enjoyed visiting with them. I saw 2 steelies in one hole early on but wasn't able to get my First Cast Jig in their face. I think DSR had a couple bobber-downs at another spot we tried but we didn't get any fish to talk about this time. It was still a great day to be on the river. Almost got down to shorts it is so warm.

Thanks guys for sharing the bank with me today.

Thank you for the report. I got up too late today. Tomorrow? I'm shooting for first light 'til heat:30. I've been taking the blue civic for mileage.

hey ugly stik it was nice to run into you guys down on the river today! under that tree is a good spot!

P/M and we can hook up some time since I live in hillsboro to. It is always nice to hang out with fellow ifishers

It was tons of fun...and a great pleasure to fish with Ugly Stick and DSRODS. It sure was warm!! I fished until 5pmish.
I had one bobber down later in the afternoon on the dark jig near the narrows. Rookie mistake

, didn't set the hook. Had it on for about 10 seconds maybe, and the hook just came out

Then fished a few other holes...saw fish rolling. So, you can't say they're not in there. Then I went back up to the deadline hole later in the afternoon, when the sun was out of the water. As I just started, STEW came down and greeted me. We had a great chat about fishing and Ifish. It was a GREAT pleasure to have met him. As we were chattin, I was tossing out the pink worm...I had a good take, but missed. The water was pretty darn clear, I could see my worm drifting slowly, then it came to a stop. Thought the worm was stuck, it was actually in the Steelie's mouth as he was mouthing it..arrgg...I started to reel in, the hook stabbed enough that he turned away and Stew and I saw a good flash. Next time!!
All in all....great company..great weather, and good times. Thanks guys for sharing the river with me and your companionship. Next time, we'll nail them

Nice to meet Vu, ugly stick, and salmonberry. No fish but you cannot beat the weather. Yes, I know, A swing and a miss but oh well.

We will have to hook up again when the fishing pics up. I think it is the sandy for this guy from here on out.
