Default Kids\' Rifle Clubs in Salem?

I’ve been wanting to get my 9 year old into a rifle club for some time and am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a club in or near Salem. The boy loves to shoot his BB gun and craves to learn about safety and shooting techniques.

I was a member of a gun club in Idaho when growing up and participated in an NRA shooting program for several years. That program taught me tremendous respect for safety and hunting and has stuck with me throughout my life and even carried over into fishing issues (ethics, respect, etc.) I've been told the NRA no longer sponsors these types of programs.

Any suggestions for a good kids’ program will be appreciated.

You may want to try Tri County Gun Club in Tualatin. I don't know if they have a youth program but they are the best up here.

I had a family friend that ran one in Salem years ago. He owned a gun shop, etc. I would call a few of the smaller gun shops and ask them. I can't remember the name of the one he had, think it might have been Four Corners something.
