Two of us were there on Saturday and Sunday. Total was seven or eight each day plus one sardine and one candle fish. Didn't see anyone else doing much, either.
It's real sketchy right now. The folks at our office that are monitoring them went out looking for them yeasterday and found none. The low water in the bay is probably keeping them way down low if not out of the bay completely for the most part. Dang, I was planning on catching my own for fall chinook fishing this fall.
Are you heading down to PC this weekend? Evan and I are going down to work on the dory and try flyfishing for trout at Town Lake. If you are going and feel like taking a trip to Newport, we could be game......
PM me.
Ian

Do not worry...there will be some showing up in mid April thru the summer.
The spawners have not been a big show for years...but the others have been. I how we have a good showing on sardines again.....they don't freeze worth a damn, but are killers as fresh plug cuts.
