Default Oscar Awards

The Oscar's have been awarded. Were you surprised by any of the winners?

The list of winners can be found here

I'm surprised that anyone cares what Hollywood thinks, truthfully.

Watched about 15 minutes of it and decided that Chris Rock sucks as an MC. He should leave his political BS at the door. Another borish dribble concert.

Watched the show on and off for about an hour. Very boring.

I only watched it off and on. Tried watching Patton too. Kept switching back and forth.

I pretty much had thought Jammie Foxx would win for best actor.

Hillary Swank did a good job in her role as a boxer so she deserved the Oscar.

Morgan Freeman is always a favorite of mine. Glad he won best supporting Actor.

Missed the Best supporting Actress presentation.

Million Dollar Baby as best movie wasn't a suprise but I had hoped "Ray" would have won.

Did not really care about the rest of it.

The only real suprise was that the event was over by 8:40. Took less than three hours. First time in I don't know how many years.

Until you consider that it started at 5:30

Always makes me realize how few movies I see ...

I really only watched the last half hour, but the TV was on. I thought Chris Rock was as good as any recent host. I didn't catch any political comments, but since they were probably CORRECT I would have been amused.
