Default Couldn\'t wait

Had to try the upper willamette yesterday for a couple hours after doing some things around the house. We had three or four bites and put one in the boat about a pound and a half. Was a beautiful shirtsleeve day untill about three thirty. Was good to feel the water under the boat and see how everything worked. Water checked out at 44 degrees.

Spent monday moring on the upper Willamette. Made sure the boat still ran and the new GPS/Sonar worked. First time above the falls ever and it sure looks like it could be good later in the Spring. Tried to find some deap water rock piles with no success. Didn't get bit but was sure nice to get out!!

Fish on!

Looking for tips on the upper river if anybody has any  .

Fish on...Jason
