Default Jig Trailer Poll

Spring is coming soon and I think most of us will be throwing some jigs. There has been much debate on what is better- pork or plastic trailers. I've had much better luck with plastic than pork. I've done much better with plastic grubs for trailers What do you guys think?

Don't know which is best. Will give plastic trailers a good hard try this spring. Have some berkley power grubs I want to add to the jig to see if results are going to be as good as berkley promises.

I usually fish plastic so the jig will fall quicker. Also its a lot easier to keep around than a bunch of pork. Pork has some real benefits too though

I like plastic. Much easier to find and it is easier to deal with. I like the zoom version the best.

I used to like pork a bunch but it was depressing when it dried out and the availability wasn't all that great. Have used zoom with some good results but now am using the YUM exclusivly and having great results both early spring and on through till fall. Jig color and trailor color matter a bunch I believe for the smallie's. The scent too on the YUM I believe adds a little extra too.
I'm just about done tying this years jigs and am hoping to try them this weekend. Tight Lines

Go to living rubber.com
It's located in california and they have what is called a frog fur. You may want to give it a try. Tight Lines
