Sellwood Springer Report (pic)
Hit it today with El-Kabong and my dorky little brother.
Wouldn't you know it, the bro showed us how it was done.
First this keeper:
Then the smooth release of this partial clipped fish
Didn't see much else caught. PM me if you need to speak to my attorney

Re: Sellwood Springer Report (pic)
Most likely faked that one... I can't read the date on the newspaper nor the numbers on the ID. Plus, you don't have a photo of your marked tag.
All this deception is starting to wear me down.

Re: Sellwood Springer Report (pic)
It's for real. Under super magnification I can make out my face and dark blue shirt that I'm wearing today in one of the office buildings in the background....
Congratulations! What was wrong with the misclip - not "misclipped" enough to keep?

Looks like a cut and paste job to me. He is wearing a sweatshirt and stocking hat on a warm day on the river.

It was my understanding that you can keep a partially clipped fish, as long as it's obvious. Am I wrong?

hmmmmmmmmm. Based on above thread, it seems so far my principal contribution to ifish has been genetic rather than fish-catching wisdom. But once I get my new old boat in the water I hope to change that. Way to go Darian and Darv !!!!

I also believe that you can keep a partially clipped fish.
I would hate to think that I released a "keeper."
Ouch!
Congrats on a great outing anyway!!!!!!

Dad that thing will be a fish catcher here very shortly
The fish we released had enough adipose left to make me pretty nervous. We all looked and agreed that we were better safe than sorry. There WILL be others!

The "proof" standard has been set. Current paper, photo ID and a fresh looking fish. Hope I don't forget the paper. Nice fish.

Don't be fooled, this is clearly another fake. Using FBI image enhancing software, I have revealed this to be a sham.
Don't take just any picture for face value...

I have to agree, the fish is made of rubber. The fake ID and cut'n'pasted paper job was a nice touch though.
