Newport this weekend??

With the Wine and Seafood festival going on this weekend I should probably just stay out of Newport but the weather looks too good to pass up. Who else is getting cabin fever and is going to slip out and do a little bottom fishing out of Newport?

I what to go really bad ! The ocean has been a little to rough for me. :tongue:I have 19ft NorthRiver, I just like to play it safe. Today the bar was restricted to boats 16ft and less. Today at 7:00am the Yaquina Bay bar 2-4 ft swell with occasional 6ft and bouy line 4-6 ft swell. Not to bad but I like to see it non-restricted. I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what the ocaen does. Maybe I can go
