Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
On the Columbia and Willamette, it would have to be a 4" green pumpkin Zoom lizard.
On the coastal lakes, just about anything black behind a jig.
I must say though, there are many others.

Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
Onnnnnnnnnnnly One!!!
I've learned latly that I have an extreme fondness for a 3" Yum Dinger in watermelon candy dropshotted for smallies. BUT...a brown jig here as of late with a green pumpkin trailor has been awesome too.
But just one bait....a worm....lets narrow it down to you said plastic and it would have to be a tube in watermelon or greenpumpkin. They can be drop-shotted, texas rigged, fished on top in pads, carolina rigged etc.

Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
Hmmm.......My favorite worm, not including lizard, tube, freakbait, bed fishing, etc....just an all around worm, would be a 4 inch powerworm in black, with pumpkinseed a close second. Its too hard to narrow it down to one though..

Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
Oh this is not fair. Just one color. I guess it would be a 5" senko greenpumpkin with black flake. Now if I'm at Crane you can't pry my watermelon with red out of my hands.

Gotta fall back to my old days in San Diego. The 6" Smitty stretched to 7 &1/2", brown with a blue stripe. Day in day out it was The Worm!

Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
I'm going to get laughed at for this one but it has to be the ones that come rigged up in the little spinner harness the one with the helicopter like blade with a few beads on some spinner wire. I love to use the natural colored worm with it smallies and walleye love it. You can buzz it fast over the top of the water or run it deep in the rocks it is a wonderful little rig but very hard to find them pre made I have resorted to making my own rp

Ryan Pultz
As we get older we worry less and less about people laughing at what we do . I agree with you that some times a little difference can make a big difference .Ive made a small change and had it turn a so so day into a great day . In my younger day i though that i knew every thing and i used to laugh at rookeys that were fishing something different and unuseuall and not the normal way to catch fish . Iv!e been burned to many times when they would catch fish and i
didn!t catch a thing . What a humbling time that is . Guess who had the last laugh ?

Re: What is you favorite worm and in what color?
After 50 yrs of bass fishing 4 to 6 in worms in black or black grape in pork or plastic. It isn't so much the color but how they are fished. Texas rigged. drop shot, without lead, split shot,Carolina rigged, etc Presentation is more important.
