Walleye above Willamette Falls

Looks like we have a new species to chase with jigs and crank baits when the smallies won't cooperate in the Newberg pool.

Picture is from last week. This was the first adult walleye captured in the fish passage evaluator at Willamette Falls in Oregon City. It was moving down stream and was captured in the smolt bypass system.

I've heard of them caught up by Eugene...maybe here's some prooof coming down.
