Here's a suggestion - take me with you!
We've always wanted to explore that neck of the woods and are about to start doing our homework on what to do and see. Maybe I'll pick your brain when you get back. Have fun!

My brother went there a few years back to play in a soccer tournament. He said that the women there are great, so I would say be single but i haven't been there, i can ask him and see what he says then post it for you.

Re: Going to Denmark- any ideas?
I was in Copenhagen for a couple days a few years ago, it's a really nice city.
What kinds of things do you like to do?
Cheers,
L

There's an Ifisher IN Denmark. He hasn't posted in quite a while but I sure Great Dane (Niels) would be happy to help you out.
He comes over once a year to the NW to fish in the fall. I have met him on the river the last two years for an evning of fishing on the NFL and found him to be great company. He works for the Department of Fisheries.
When I get back from Lewiston I'll PM you his information.

Re: Going to Denmark- any ideas?
i haven't been myself, but i asked a few friends of mine that live in the area and have been there before what there was to do. here is what they told me.
Quote:
Not much to do in cities like Copenhagen and Aarhus for an outdoors person Unless you enjoy amusement parks :P They have a great one in Copenhagen Or else it's just the usual: shopping, restaurants, museums...

Well...there's that statue of the mermaid, but I don't see how that could entertain someone for more than 5 minutes.
Denmark possesses some beautiful woodlands and hilly countryside very much like Limburg in Holland. There are quite a few museams, probably all about the seafaring Danes and the battle of Jutland. There's apparently quite a few castles worth visiting...There's a vikingschip museum in Roskilde (where there's a big music festival each year)
Kopenhagen also features the longest shopping street in Europe called: 'Strøget'..
Anyway.. I hope that helps.:

Hey, not sure if this will interest ya.
Jetting from one locale to another in Europe is very cheap, you can get on a plane from London to Rome for 30 bucks each way, same day purchase. I would check out Amsterdam and Holland, you can have some fun in Amsterdam and take a train over to Holland to visit the Heineken Plant, Do i hear free beer.....
