Default Cook Park

I was reading some past posts and decided to give Cook Park a try since it is close to my home. We pulled up 3 Whitefish, 3 perch, 1 crappie(6-7"), and 1 crawdad. We were using a worm. The kids and I had a ball and it wasn't very busy there.

Default Re: Cook Park

When you cross the bridge on Hwy. 99 at Roamers Rest, on the west side of the road is a small pond that grows over with vegitation. Before that property was sold for apartment houses, the man that owned it let me fish it. I caught a bucket of bluegill that weighed over a half pound each and one bass that was over five pounds.

He did not let many fish there and the fish were pretty big. I have never gone back there and do not know if there are still fish in it but I always wondered if there were. I don't get to walk as much and I live a ways from there now. You might keep it in mind and check it out.
