Default Fall Cleaning

Yesterday a bud and myself did a fall cleaning on the boat from top to bottom. He had borrowed it and said a couple things weren't working up to snuff. So after a complete wax from top to bottom and checking nuts and bolts..cleaning fishing line out of the electric etc it was about 2:00 so decided to be brave and hit the river. Besides it was a hot day and felt like a little reward before staining the deck.
The smallies were still biting on the upper Willy. Our first casts both resulted in a couple smallies. What suprised me was how shallow they were...especially with all the skiers out. We just took a couple drop shot rods with some three inch yum dingers and life was good. Nothing over three pounds but in an hour and a half of bouncing around we caught quite a few. Water temp was back up to 67.
