Default Doug Baxter? Bass Clubs?

Baxters tackle has closed in Eugene, but I need to get ahold of Doug to return some things of his, and I don't have a contact # for him.
Could anyone help me?
Failing that, does anyone know how to get aho;d of any South Willamette Valley bass clubs? Thei people would likely know.
Any help would be appreciated.

The last I heard he wasn't doing to well and I hope I'm wrong because he is a great guy. He belonged to the Emerald Valley Club in Eugene I believe and lived down by Dorena. Wether he has an unlisted number I'm not sure. I would go onto www.oregonbassfederation.org and possiblly look for a lead and if I see any of the southern boys at the tourney this weekend I'll try and remember to have them look at this post.

You might also try contacting someone at the NW Steetheaders group. Their Eugene website is below
and there is an e-mail contact option on it. I moved from Eugene 1 1/2 years ago, but prior to that tried to hit Baxters once a week. He's repaired all me reels at one time or another. Very sad to hear he is closed and worse yet might not be in good health.

Go to Emeraldbassclub.com......email the president, Troy Corgain. He's pretty close to Doug and I'm sure can take care of you.

Ditto on the NW Steelheaders contact. I was in his store when he was closing out. In telling him I hoped he would still fix reels and such he said he about had a shop ready for that purpose in a couple years, and to find out where to find him through the Steelheaders. He is a real hoot.
He always had a "tongue in cheek" crack. One time I was looking for one of the little spring scales with a tape measure, but asked him if he had any scales. "Yeah, they're right there," and pointed to several different sizes of digital scales. "They don't have a tape measure" I said. "I've never seen anybody try to measure a fish with a scale before," was his answer. I learned never to mention flyfishing in his store unless you're prepared for an earful.
