My son and I ran out to Hagg Lake last nite for the last hour of fishing. We fished near Ramp A and just used grubbs. Very few people at the ramp so we cast them from shore across the ramp and on a rocky ledge just a few feet away. I caught ten dinks, five smallies, four largemouth and a large perch on the grubs. No great catch but using an ultra lite outfit, it was still fun. At least there was some action and didn't have to go a long way. I find that late in the year, you catch more at the lake and there are some bigger ones that hang around after all the boating traffic thins out.
