Default Any great bass spots?

Hey ive just recently got into bass fishing and and i cant seem to get off of it, ive found some ok spots but are there any great spots where i can get some nice fish around Portland and if so what should i use and where on the body of water should i fish, i appreciate the help! THANX!

Hagg Lake just to the west of you is where the last two Oregon record small mouth came from, that might be a good place to start. Hagg Lake also has a good population of large mouth.

There are good bass lakes on the coast from Washington to California, not to mention the Columbia and Willamette rivers. I would suggest you buy the book "Fishing in Oregon" and do some reading, find a lake that you would like to try, then come and ask about it, someone will chip in some info for the lake or river you want to fish.
