Default Upper Willamette Bass Tourney

OK Fellas, Heres what I want to do.

I want to get a head count of all people who would be interested in fishing a bass tournament on the upper Willamette. I am thinking of Hebb Park as the launch site. $20.00 buy in (per two person team. Winner takes all. I am thinking of maybe Saturday September 13th or 20th from 7:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M.

Please only post if you are committing to doing it. We need a minimum of 5 boats to make it worth while.

Again, please only post if you are willing to commit to doing it.

Tanner

I have $50.00 for someone to take my 15 year old son as a non boater. Jordan has been fishing sence he was 3 and needs experience as a non boater to prep him for 5 tournaments he will be in this fall and next spring in Idaho. I will provide transportation to the tournament. Please meet with Jordan at the tournament first to determine if you are interested.Let me just say this, if you like to talk a lot than Jordan isn't going to be the right partner for you. When the rod is in his hands his mouth shuts up. Thanks for your consideration.

Tanner, This is my second reply to this thread, so you know I'm serious. Again let me reiterate that I am interested in an upper willamette tourney. As long as its fun, easy going and non club sponsered I'm game. Best for me out of Hebb park would be Sept 20th.

The guys that meet on the lower willamette on wednesdays determine the winner not by total weight but simply by biggest fish caught. But they're fishing only a few hours.

A seperate note to David Ulrich. I would be willing to take your son if he would like to come with me. Im in a Crestliner single side console 16 1/2 footer with 90 HP Merc. Not the fastest boat on the water by any means but does get from fishing hole to fishing hole quite adequately

I appreciate the offer very much. Thanks... I'll keep an eye on this page and see what develops. Please email me if you have any questions or comments. You will enjoy fishing with Jordan very much. He has been and always will be my only fishing partner. I haven't come across an adult yet that can match his knowledge and attitude on the water.

What towns would be in the area (North of Salem but south of the MC)?

Tanner, I am in as well. The only thing that could get in the way is a potential pre-deployment (IRAQ) exercise but for now both of your dates look good.

David, if your son wants to he can fish with me and save the $50 I wouldn't feel right taking it since I have got a couple of open seats from other IFISHER'S, but he could split the fat purse we would win....eh he eh

Hey Bucketmouth what do you have to say to Airborne's comment ? I'm looking to get Jordan on a 2 man team. I appreciate your offer on saving me the money but Bucketmouth offered first. Lets see what he says and I'll let you know.

I was'nt going to accept the $50 bucks either. Perhaps your son should make the call. I'm still willing to take him with me but do not mind if he chooses to go with Airborne. I just need to know in advance so I can make partner arrangements before the event takes place.

BTW, I could make Sept 13 work if need be but the 20th fits my schedule much better.

BucketMouth/David,
I sure didn't mean to sound like what it sounds like I sounded like. Just meant money wasn't required... sorry to all if it sounded any other way. See you all on the river

I was just informed last nite that the 13th is out for me, seems it is my wedding anniversary, of course I said "but honey it's on the 14th" which is Sunday she said "yea and we leave on Saturday the 13th" so the 20th looks fine to me hope it works for you guys as well... let me know. If you go to msn maps.com you can pull up a great map on how to get there.

I hope so. I want to set it up for September 20th. But I need firm commitment from everyone who is going to participate.
I will set up another thread strictly for sign up.

This is David Ulrich, Jordan's Dad. I could have killed him when I found out his sign on. Boys will be boys I guess. Hey Airbourne, I'll go with you if you need a partner. I'd love you smoke him in the Tournament. Let me know what you want to do. dulrich@wm.com

David,
I had 1 guy (chuckee) offer and I told him he could go, but I have not heard from him as of yet, If I don't hear from him soon like in a day or 2 your are more than welcome to win or I mean fish out of my boat anytime. In fact I pre-fished that area today for about 2 hours and it was red hot with the biggest about 17" so it should be a fun time....

David, if it's all right with Tanner I don't mind if you fish from my boat after all if we all have to pay $10.00 it should be all the same, except I guess we would splt the winnings 3 ways instead of 2.........
