Weekend trip to Hagg/ Recent reports?

My surveying pard and I are planning an early morn,(SAT) trip to Hagg in pursuit of Smallies. Anybody been doing any good up there recently? Thought we would try "drop shotting" since we haven`t tried that technic before. Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly. What time do the gates open? What to use, where at, etc. Hooked a "hawg" and lost it up there a couple months ago, but haven`t been back since. Thanx in advance. Fishft.
