Older Honda Kicker Owners.......
No, I'm not talking about old guys with honda kickers......
I've got an 80's vintage Honda kicker that has a little green light on it. I assume it is an oil pressure light.
THE BIG QUESTION: during normal operation should the light be ON or OFF?
Thanks,
Freakwater

Re: Older Honda Kicker Owners.......
I have a mid 80's honda that runs great the only problem is when the motor is locked in position for trailering by the tension nut on the side my motor still moves about 3 inches both ways, like there is some kind of bearing out. Have any of you guys experienced this at all?
Thanks, DM

Re: Older Honda Kicker Owners.......
As far as I know...The light will come on briefly on start-up, when oil pressure builds the light will go out. If the light's not coming on at all, the bulb may be burnt out.

Re: Older Honda Kicker Owners.......
The light indicates oil pressure on my 85 kicker and if it is out or flickering then it needs oil.
