Default Still Amazing

It still amazes me how a little six inch smallie will have to come up and antagonize a super spook. But they do. Fished out of Wilsonville yesterday and we caught a few nice fish and quite a few smaller ones. Biggest was in the neighbor hood of three and a half. Their starting to get pretty fat. Was comparing them to fish caught at the Dalles and those we caught there were still skinny.

Is there any bluegill or crappie in the Wilsonville ponds just off the freeway, and if there is what do they use for bait?

I've only been there a couple times in the past. But on occasion I do see quite a few people fishing there. From the reports I hear and what I saw there were a lot of bluegill, small bass and some cats in there. Caught a lot of the bluegills and bass at the time on flies and small topwaters. Like the little rebel lures that look like bugs. Tight Lines
