Default Cottage Grove Report

Spent 5 days last week camping, swimming, tubing and BASS FISHING at Cottage Grove Lake. Thanks to some advice from a couple of ifishers I had a pretty successful trip. I managed to catch several fish a day in the 3 -6 lb range. I caught them on crankbaits, Senkos, splitshotted plastics and in the evenings and early mornings on buzzbaits.

Saturday evening I got into a hellacious buzzbait bite and had one of my most fun bass fishing experiences ever.

Spending that much time on the water, you can't help but figure a few things out and get a new method somewhat dialed in. I am really looking forward to going back next summer and trying it again.

Sorry Nitrobass, I didn't make it over to Dorena. The fishing at CG was good enough that I just decided to stay there.

Thanks Again.

The Bass Hater
