We had a company trip down the Sandy wed 2/9/05 with some of our clients 6 drift boat-- we caught 8 fish in all 1 wild --rest hatchery -- largest was near 15 lbs with others close by --- great day on the river-- great weather -- I have picture of catch but can not figure how to post it -- we used jigs and bobbers -- Trevor Storlie was the main guide--(red's guide service) as his wife works with us :

How do we know these fish were really caught in the Sandy
I was wondering what a sandy river fish looked like.

Re: Sandy river report for wed 2/9/05
We saw all the heads, filleted backbones, and leftover sandshrimp in the water at the Dabney ramp when we launched on Thursday morning. Lower river was windy and slow. Only saw one other boat. No fish. It was hard to driftfish or throw bobbers with the boat being blown upstream most of the day. Ice in the morning as well. Burrrrrrrrrr.
