Anybody fished the Pot Holes Reservoir area?

I'm thinking about fishing the lakes near Potholes. Believe it or not a buddy of mine that lives nearby there caught a 15lb walleye Thurs. morning. The same guy caught a 8lber out of my boat the last time I was up there!

Go to www.mardonresort.com and there is a lot of info. plus it has a weekly fishing report. You can sign up to get their email report and it has lots of good info. on the fishing on Potholes as well as the local small lakes. Well worth getting if you want to fish there.

We are planning a trip there later on this summer. They have a great dock and the fishing on it has all kinds of fish that you can get. If you need a boat, they rent them. It is a nice place to stay and camp.

I've never fished Potholes itself, but I've had a lot of fun fishing for trout in the nearby Seep Lakes in early spring.

the seepes lake are my favorites. That's about all I fish. That's where that 15lber came out of I mentioned in my original post.
