Default Sportsman show (and my 100th post)

Really just wanted my 100th post but.....
Are there any deals on tackle and that kind of thing at the sportsman show?? A buddy who bought a new boat wants me to go and not sure if it's "worth it"

I have found some good deals in the past. Don't be afraid to make somebody an " offer" on something you want. Never pay retail!

The main reason to go is you always get some good ideas from talking to all the vendors and see old friends from the past.

I think it would be worth the trip.

I bought a piece of art work some time ago by outdoor artist George Davis. Hangs on my wall today. Just love it. Wilson River, fisherman with a chinook. There's lots more than rods and reels and boats there.

In past years I have found that Englund Marine always has the best deals on crab pots and ropes and buoys.

If you are in the market then the Sportsmen's Show will be the time to buy.

I like going to hear the seminars and to "get in the mood" for the upcoming springer season. I look at the show as being the kickoff for springer season. Congrats on your 100th post!

Last year there was a sporting goods store out of Longview WA that had some pretty good deals on some fishing gear. I dropped a few bucks there. I haven't been to the show yet this year, but will be there tomorrow. I have always found it to be a good show, well worth the $$$.

I will be there all day Sat working the booth for TFO (Temple Fork Outfitters). Come by and say hi. We are right next to the casting ponds. Try out a rod or two. I will have free FLYFISHONLINE stickers on hand too! Just ask for one. See you there!!
