Raymarine DS 500X

I'm on my second color fishinder with problems. The screen collects moisture in it. My boat is inclosed, no rain water. I bought the expanded return policy from Boaters World and am thinking of a different brand. Does anyone own one and are you happy with it.
I'm looking for feedback.

For what it's worth I love mine. I had an Eagle, but was un happy with it's performance, especially in the ocean.

I have not had any problems with moisture, however I take it out of the boat each and everytime and keep it in the house. :grin: I believe the temperture extremes (especially when it's off) is hard on this kind of equipment. At least why tempt fate?

I had the same problem with a Lowrance X-70A sent it to the factory they charged over $100 (just out of warranty) and when I got it back the same thing. No more Lowrance for me.
