My new north river boat
I finally did it and got a new drift boat. Brian and Jay at north river set me up with this boat.
They also helped me by setting it all up with a walk through for sidedrifting and back motor seat.
To see a couple more pics click here: My fishing reports . Once again another example of awesome North River boats.

Beautiful boat Scott. If you have some open dates this winter/spring I'd be happy to book a trip and take some limit shots. I've got an awesome shot of that big summer run you caught last year.

Re: My new north river boat
Zaq, u-bar could be for front fisherman's thighs...it looks like the molded fiberglass rest that comes on the clackacrafts...
Nice ride!!!

Re: My new north river boat
Nice boat Scott. One question, how do you balance the boat with one person in the front?

Re: My new north river boat
Scott,
Sweet ride you have you there. I saw you have a rear seat mtd in the rear along the top rail. I have been looking for a seat like yours for several years now. Do you or anyone know where I can find one? I called North River and they don't carry them.
Thanks for any help you can send my way...

Re: My new north river boat
Zaq: The u-bar is a brace for side drifting so the front guy can stand up without fear of falling over, even in heavy water or fighting a fish. Plus for balance it keeps them in the middle. I am getting one built for the middle guy now.
Nick: Welcome aboard. Let's go sometime. I will call as soon as I get an opening. "We can get some nice pics" Kinda like the other three trips; still have those picture? I haven't seen any yet
Freespool: My boat was made with ajustable seats so I can move them around. For one guy I set it up like this.
SHG: Call and talk to Jay at North River, and he can set you up. I had him make mine, and he should be able to make you one. Email me if you need or have him get ahold of me if he has any questions about what you want. I am sure we can hook you up.
