That is a sweet boat but on the specs there is no price. What's the ballpark?? with inboard? and outboards? Mark

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Work
Keta,
Those are nice boats. Just go down and sign the books for a couple months . I have been working all of the OT shifts I can stand now for about 4 months for my new one and goodies for it when I get it home. I have 123 hrs ot in the month of Jan. But the family is forgetting what I look like so I guess it is time to slow down.

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Work
VERY nice boat, but way outta my price range. I looked at them at the Seattle boat show in '04, they are made in WA (I think). I don't think that were at the '04 PDX show. They had a website, probably still do. I ended up with an EdWing with a pilot house, which I like. It's functional and sturdy, but the Osprey was too and it was also well finished, which explains the price.

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Wor
Your looking at a easy 60k+, much more if you want diesel power.
Sweet boat, my uncle has a buddy who moor's one right next to him, its a great rough water boat.
My dream boat is a Fountain. Would love to have a 32 CC with Triple 300 Yami's.

I looked at that same boat at the boat show with a 225hp Honda. It was priced at 80K. The wife just laughed when I came home with the brochure.

Our own salty dog "Andiamo" Phil has the 26 ft with a diesel...moored at the Embarcadero. He had to trade in the 2 axle trailer and get a triple axle. I'll let him tell the "why?" story......

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Wor
Yeah I made the mistake of taking the girlfriend to the boat show this year. Once she saw boats with real toilets that was it. She really liked the Seasports, and so did I. Probably not gonna happen this year unless business gets really good, but something to shoot for.
Any Seasport owners out there care to comment about their rides?

Lee, Don't you have enough boat to work on?
If not Gregotis98 could use a wrench thrown at him and I have some glass work and trim tabs to install when the weather breaks.
What is the deck space on the Tolley?

"Fishbox Capacity 120 qts."
That and about 5 more 150 qt. coolers on the back deck would give you *almost* enough
capacity for a good tuna day ...
JMHO
Nice boat, all the same ...

I don't drink much on the water so 120qts should keep the beer cold

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Work
We looked at the 22' at the boat show. Sticker was over $80k
The 26' was over $110k
But it was love at first sight.

Re: Something to Make a Guy Want to go Back to Work
I had the hots for an Osprey about 6 years ago, not long after they came out. In fact, I went by the factory THREE times to check out the construction. They would never let me in, and would not make an appointment for a tour! The next year we went on a guided trip in Alaska, and got to ride on one (24') for a couple days. Turns out, the hull design stinks in rough water! It threw spray all over itself--wettest boat I've ever seen. It also "hesitates" every time it hits a big wave, because the front digs in too much. The more you trim down, the worse it gets.
I usually don't say much bad about other boats, but this one is almost dead last on my list, and I'd like to save other Dogs from a bad deal. I'd take a Sea Sport, Orca, ACB, or most anything else before an Osprey.
